Inside these giant columns, stars are being born. Yet for the dying stars that set this process in motion, the consequences are grim. Supernovae leave in their wake a range of bizarre objects. Among them, tiny ultra-dense objects called neutron stars, and their strange, other worldly cousins, black holes.
@messi996 oh kewl! i had no idea hawking admited his theories to be wrong. nevertheless they remain pretty damn mysterious. also i wonder if any theory thts been at least partialy prooven has acctualy show/told wut is on the other side of a black hole! id love to kno. imagine getting to the other side, and finiding something like a parallel universe. wud be amazing!
@LOLtzied they actually can exist now with the newest theorys of the universe i think, mainly since hawking admit his thoeries were wrong, and string theory has taken over , outside of string theory they cant exist but they can with string i believe.

@LOLtzied no one know what is on the other side but one interesting fact is that the maths equation for the black hole, actually can be compared to one of a the universe thus showing some evidence that on the other side of a black hole is a new unvierse, but ofc that has not been proofen and no one has any idea if that is true

@LOLtzied The best way to find out what’s on the other side would be to… go inside, but of course no one would go in because they would well, die. There’s been a couple of theories and ideas about what’s on the other side so you can just google those.

So as i understand it a black hole is a tear or a rip in the fabric of the universe. Breaking all the laws of physics and existance it is an anomaly tht shudnt be able to exist. So how come it doest? And what is on the other side?

@raverdeath100: In a neutron star, all the electrons have combined with protons under the pressure of the neutron degeneracy. What you describe, where protons, neutrons and electrons are all sort of squished together, is degenerate matter, the matter in white dwarfs.
@TheisticThinker: Even better, if you choose your units and combine the constants, you get R = 2.93 M, where M is the mass in solar masses, and R is in kilometers. The radius of an event horizon of a black hole of one solar mass is about 3 km, or 6 km in diameter.
When I see something like this, I can’t help but think of the grandeur of God’s creation. He is truly awesome!

For anyone wanting to know how small a radius (R) any mass (M) needs to be compressed into, to become a Black Hole, then use this formula,
R = 2GM/c²
Where G is the gravitational constant and c is the speed of light. Now have fun trying that out for random masses.

@megamuffin1517 neutron stars are not ” just neutrons”. the atoms are squashed down so the empty space between the electrons and nuclei is nearly gone. it says this in the video.

well it cant be more energy than dark matter/negative energy because then dark matter wouldnt exist because that energy would nullify it, and it cant be more dark matter than energi becuase then there wouldnt be a universe because we all would have been swallowed by a giant black hole indeffinitely which means we wouldnt have existed in the first place because a creation would never take place.. soo the universe has to equal in 0, equal parts of energy and negative energy.

So if a neutron star was 100% neutrons, wouldn’t it be invisible as there are no electrons to bounce the light?

shooting particles doesnt come from the black hole itself, it is from the region around the black hole at the point of no return, when the matter is pouring into blackhole, after that region even light is cant escape gravity. So v see that as a bright light, but it is actually collapsing stars matter getting compressed.

@lazychimp123 If you see particles shooting from a black hole or pole, you’ve done your job! This is realatively true…the angle of the dangle is directionally proportional to the square of the root. Merry Christmas!
